Yes...

Another clean scan...yeah....even some improvements in the lungs from the March scan. I think we were so keyed up about the day, that for the first time in 18 months we completely forgot where we parked the car..eventually found it on the 2nd floor....

Liam is still pretty groggy from being under this morning. Plans for the summer...he'll have monthly checkups for a port flush and his next CT in August; after that we might start talking about having the port removed... Time now to do some party planning...

Despite the traffic heading off the Cape, we still had a great weekend... We're almost at the bridge now, but the kids are getting used to sleeping in the car anyway.

Big week ahead...actually the next 15 hours will be agonizing for me. Scan tomorrow.....trying to instead focus on Liam's 2nd birthday which is Sunday June 1st. Need to decide between Pirates or a Curious George party theme....

Ok, long time without a real update… here’s the scoop. Liam is doing great!!! He’s eating well, sleeping through the night, moved into his “Nemo” bed, wrestling with his brothers, refuses to come inside… everything a kid his age should be doing, except maybe for the talking. We are working on it though… He continues to see Liz from Kennedy-Donovan on a weekly basis, and will probably start “group” sometime soon.

Liam has his next scan at the end of May. For anyone keeping track of the schedule, yes, this is a month earlier than anticipated. I think we are all just being cautious as it’s his 1st scan since being off chemo for an extended amount of time. So May 27th…stay tuned.

May is a big birthday month, and we are only halfway through. Jack turned four yesterday; we celebrated with a Super WHY party on Sunday. I think we’ve managed to find an excuse to have cake & ice-cream just about every night for the past week.

And finally, we are very happy to have our cousin Zachary (and one of our favorite neighbors) come home from his stay at Children’s Hospital in Boston. Zachary, who is just seven years old, had heart surgery on Monday, and was back home by Saturday. He’s taking it easy for now, and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Everybody…. STAY HEALTHY!!

Just about enough hair to work up a lather now.
