THE YEAR 2010 IN REVIEW

Well I thought that I would recap the year 2010 since we were kind of spiratic at updating throughout the year. First I must start by saying how relieved we are that Liam has had THREE clean scans this year. He is doing great, growing and thirving like every four year old boy should. Liam enjoys going to school everyday (well somedays he wants a short day instead of a long day). Liam and Troy goto the same pre-school and love seeing each other on the playground. Can't believe that he will be off to Kindergarten in the fall. As for Mr. Troy, he is doing great at school, well except for the little part where he has to have his listening ears on at all times.......and sometimes "he forgets" he says. Owen and Jack are enjoying the 2nd and 1st grades, making lots of new friends. The actaully look forward to doing their homework everynight.......not sure how much longer that will last. Owen and Jack had done Karate for two+ years but since November we have "taken a break" from it. They also enjoyed baseball in the spring and they played flag football this past fall. Liam played soccer for the 1st time and LOVED it. It was so nice to see him running around the fields.

This past April Meg ran the Boston Marathon for MGH in honor of Liam. She did awesome and she met her two goals, (1), finish the race and (2) get an official time. It was so nice to run the last 6 miles with her and be with her as she crossed that finish line of an amazing journey.

Meg and I also turned the BIG 40 this year, some days we feel it and others we feel like kids again running around with the boys! Party at the PawSox game for me and weekend in Mystic and Mohegan Sun for Meg's. We also enjoyed our yearly trip to Myrtle Beach in April and our weeks at the cape in the summer. It is so great to see the boys growing up but somedays it seems like its too fast.

On a sad note, for those of you who knew our "girls", yes the Beagles, we lost Lucy in July. She was 13, lived a good life but Daisy misses her terribly. Daisy is doing ok and the boys keep her going. The boys love her, especially Liam as he pretends to be Rocky the cat and hisses at her :)

Well I think that is a quick review of 2010. Please keep in mind the young children that have lost their battle this year to cancer and a special prayer for my cousin Devan whom we also lost this past year to Breast Cancer.

We wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year in 2011. Enjoy the pictures! Love Bridgett
