First Day of School.......

So we ALL made it through day one of pre-school (Jack) and kindergarten (Owen) and yes the bus went very smoothly, actually harder on me. So the whole gang was down at the end of the drive way 45 minutes ahead of time and yes this will be probably the first and last time that we are ever that early. Nana, Melissa, and Karen also joined us to take some pictures and video of course. I think the only one that really had a problem with the bus was Liam.......as you can see from the picture it was a good thing he was strapped into the carriage because he probably would have been running down the street after the bus. He cried in his seat yelling for Owee, owee, owee (as Liam calls him).

So day one is over, today is a new week and Meg is off to Washington for a few days for work. So me and the boys will have a great time. For those of you wanting to get a soccer update, well the first games for Owen and Jack were cancelled on Saturday because of the rain, so stayed tuned next week for those updates and pics......

Official post number two........

Well the official weigh in for the "TANK" (as we like to call Troy) is 27.2 lbs. Yes for a one year old that puts him in the 96th percentile, he out-weighed all his brothers at this age....way to go Troy. Since he has turned "1", he thinks he can do everything the others can do, which includes wrestling with them and climbing on the table. He has now started to walk, although wobbly, it works for him.
Liam is doing great, his vocabulary has really started to broaden, his new favorite word this week is "juice". He is also mastering his colors. Seems like the bees love Liam too, this summer he has been stung three times and now runs every time he sees a flying insect.

As for Owen and Jack, they both had orientation for school this week and are looking forward to starting. The BIG day is Friday, as Owen will get on the bus and go to Kindergarden all day and Jack will go pre-school in the afternoons. Yes we will be a mess on Friday morning and you know that we are following that bus all the way to school. Well that is all for now, enjoy the pictures as summer winds down and stay tuned for the bus update............
