Eventually we made it over to the hemock clinic (also very busy today) and waited a while for our appointment to see Dr. Freedman...and in the end it all worked out. One final wait for a flu shot (up from pharmacy) and just a little bit of traffic on the way home...
We saw lots of old friends along the way today, and hope they ended their day on a good note like us.
Someone managed to sneak Liam's bike in the house today, he should have been wearing a helmet, because he was still feeling the effects of the sedation and bumping and speeding all around the house. I know..we let him get away with these things, but after a day like today, he deserves it.

PS: Did I mention, now that Liam's port is out, he gets an IV hookup the old fashioned way? Attempts made in both arms before they got it... still that wasn't as bad as the flu shot (last pic).
These pics are so sobering Meg. He deserves the world and you guys are delivering. I'm so happy that the results are positive. Happy Thanksgiving! Kellie
OMG look at that face! Go ahead, let him ride in the house, eat cake before dinner, color on the walls...whatever he wants! :)
SO glad things went well.
Miss you guys!
